  • Revision3 DoSed by another Public Company

Revision3 , a very popular site that I do not actually visit distributes a lot of videos using BitTorrent to save themselves bandwidth. BitTorrent is, of course, the mainstream tool used for pirating basically anything anyone wants to download, but it can be used for some very legal purposes, as shown...

  • Caught on Tape: Cheating in Call of Duty 4 (PS3)

While on Digg, I noticed a post about cheating in Call of Duty 4 that apparently happens on the PS3, which is almost certainly not possible on the Xbox 360 because of it's lack of mod support. The post linked to the YouTube video below. I was getting frustrated with getting owned by a group of kids...

  • My 2008 Gaming Predictions

Well it is a new year and a few major announcements or actions have already happened before I could even make my prediction post. Major items: Blu-Ray appearing to be winning, Microsoft's Xbox Live problems, CES being a bust for everyone, and I guess that is about it since the start of 08. Anyway...

  • Blu-Ray Wins HD Wars?

Unfortunately, it might be the end of the HD format wars as Warner Bros goes from making its movies available on both formats to simply supporting Blu-ray. Mac Rumors had the best graph that covers it , which clearly shows Blu-ray studios dominating with around 70% and probably most of the best movies...

  • Oops, Sony Did It Again, With Another Rootkit

I hope they have Britney Spears on their music label, because Oops I did it again should be playing on full loop over at Sony head quarters as they released yet another rootkit . In this case, the "good will" was a security program that tried to keep itself secure from would-be hackers but...

Over at Gamersyde, there are a bunch of Halo 3 videos are available showing off the single player campaign (apparently some were through a pre-recorded session to show off the replay feature), as well as showing how the replay feature works, which allows you to pause videos and free look around like...
