Thanks for answering my question, guys.
Really enjoyed this podcast and still wondering why it is not a part of virginwolrds or mmo voices collectives yet. A little more exposure would not hurt, right?
As for possible future topic, I remember being frustrated by how unresponsive keyboard and mouse controls were in CO for some reason, besides an obvious delay it felt like turning was almost tank like. I heard that CO is better played with Xbox controller, maybe because it was designed as a console game first. What are your thoughts about controls in CO in this regard.
As for usual negativity from gaming community, I think it is because of being burned by hype most of the gamers are jaded and try to lower their expectations in order to be pleasantly surprised by actual possibility of the game delivering something good.
However, they could be attention seeking, flame causing trolls as well

Here’s a few things I wrote down whiel I was listening:
- Atari.com has Champions Online on sale for $15 right now. Might be a good idea to look at that for the refer a friend program. Also, you get the Sapphire Action Figure for just referring someone (they don’t have to actually create an account).
- Thanks for the tips about using level appropiate gear even if it is not the exact stat you wanted. Lvl1 Intelligence < lvl 40 Con not matter what you are superstating. This will help me when I'm leveling my alt.
- Stances – nice tip. I maunally select the stance I want often. In fact I currently have two passives (Regen and the Electric one). However, I only used the build fuction once since after selecting it all of my gear was dumped into my inventory. Has that gear dump at build switch problem been fixed? If so, then I will really be interested in looking into this more closely.
- I also bought a lifetime sub for ChampO and have no interest in STO. It sounds cool but it's just not for me. I like the lighthearted nature of ChampO and how I can play the game with my kids. IF ChampO did go Free to Play, could they not just give me free stuff from the C-Store every month to make up for it? I dont think I would notice a difference however, I don't see them making a buiness model 180 degree change right now.
- Your last podcast was fine. I didn't hear anything out of line myself.
Next podcast idea:
- Crafting, crafting, crafting! They have made a HUGE addition to crafting including action figures and craftable travel powers. You could spend a couple of podcasts on that one…
Keep up the good work and don't hold back on those rants! I loved last weeks "Dev Comment" forum worthlessness….

Thanks for comments. We’ll try to bring address your keyboard/mouse control issue next podcast. Its something I’ve been meaning to address as one of our tips based off of some informed posters and the Cryptic team on the official forums but it’s always slipped my mind. But for now I can tell you that you that there are issued depending on whether you use keyboard vs. controller and such, but that I do not think it is an intentional bias.
