Just wanted to comment on the Launch Day Nerf discussion you guys had.
I was in Closed Beta, and Open Beta, and I LOVED the game. I bought a 6 month sub, and was completely psched for it to get relesed.
I was having a ton of fun playing the game, as it was pre-launch day. I loved feeling like a Superman. Thats why I bought the game, and thats why I was playing. The nerf took that feeling away. IT didn’t make it harder. It made it slower and more boring imho.
I think the approach they took to slowing people was down was a bad move. If they needed to add challenge then they could have made Supervillans and other boss’s more difficult instead of nerfing the player themselves.
Basically they had a problem and instead of doing things piece by piece to look for a practical solution, they took a hammer to and fit a patch in.
I tried playing for a few days after the patch and I just wasn’t having fun so I cancelled and demanded my money back (which was thankfully refunded). The main reason I keep listening to your show is because I loved the game at one point, and I like to hear whats happening with it, but at its current state I refuse to play it.

Rishard, you are right and I completely agree with you. I would have rather had them tweak the game so that it was more challenging rather than just nerf XP and increase the NPC Hitpoints.
Having said that — that is a time vs cost and they choose to do the quick and cheaper fix. I would like to think all new and post 40 content will be what you and I wish — a true challenge, not just a NPC with a ton of hit points.
