Thanks picky. Yeah, I didn't mean to come across as the Devs do something becuase we suggested, I was merely pointing out the Devs do notice what needs fixed and are addressing it.

Just to be clear, Wolfgang is not acting like we are the reason that CO added the content, rather that we were right with the developers on picking what we needed/wanted to show up in the game.

Good news. I went on and checked, and wouldn't you know it that they do have /t [name] [message] for /tell and /s for /say.

Now they just need to add /party (and /p) and /r for reply.

I had to laugh at the new Nemesis lair. It has several of the items we suggest they add.

We have now suggested a manual, got it.
New PvP map/modes that aren't death match. Got it.
Obvious gear sets from lairs. Got it.
Buy Gear sets on C-store if you can't get the drop. Got it.
End Game Lair. Got it.

Cryptic is really hitting all the needs that CO has and doing a good job hitting them.

Champions is far from perfect, but the dev team is one of the most responsive Dev teams I have followed.

Adding to the regular expression, to combine the team and party one:

^/(team?|p|pa|par|part|party)$

Would match:

/tea
/team
/p
/pa
/par
/part
/party

Similarly, and I honestly don't even know if whisper is there, but /w probably isn't and it can be added with no fuss to the tell command:

^/(t|tel{0,2}|w|wh|whi|whis|whisp|whispe|whisper)$

/t
/te
/tel
/tell
/w
/wh
/whi
/whis
/whisp
/whispe
/whisper

After putting more thought into my list, and hearing Dozens' rant and raving, I think I will adjust my list:

1. Fix the UI issues. Nothing in the UI particularly draws my attention, which is good, except when I need it to draw my attention.
1a. A few good elements that they have added: The radar area is fine, and the power area is fine now that they added the dark overlay that looks like an analog clock to show when you can use the power again. Still, it would be handy to show powers with the overlay when they are not usable because of range (as happened in WoW).

2. The chat system needs to be improved. I don't want the kids of WoW turning the various zones into a spam fest, just like at major zones in WoW (Dalaran, Ogrimmar, and Ironforge), but I do want to be able to type without risking my character's life. It's awkward, and downright unusual that I need to type "/tell Wolfgang@Wolfgang, Hey" .
2a. Here is an off-the-top-of-my-head regular expression for /tell and its various permutations:
^/(t|tel{0,2})$

This would allow /t, /te, /tel, and /tell. For anyone that knows regular expressions, you'll notice that this only deals with the first command portion and does not check the rest of the line (e.g., the "Wolfgang@Wolfgang" and the message).

The biggest negative to this is that /team is very similar, and thus could only go down to /tea or /team (^/team?$), but they could easily add /p for /party, which I regularly find myself accidentally using anyway:

^/(p|pa|par|part|party)$

Also, /r for /reply (^/(r|re|rep|repl|reply)$) should be added.

"/r This message goes to the last person that sent me a tell"

I should not have to add their name.

3. The bag system. At the very least, I should be able to open more bags than just one at a time. An even greater option would be to give items a distinct border that matches their quality and it does not have to be eye catching, but if I am looking for it, then I should easily be able to see it. I am not suggesting that that is the be-all-end-all of ideas for the bags, but it is an idea that I think could help. Beats nothing. I also think that the inventory system should be bigger (in screen size; not item slots).

4. Quest items. This is a separate issue from my bag woes. I can usually find things because I can remember where I had open slots before, but as I get more bag slots this will become more difficult and it's a nuisance regardless. If I rollover a quest, or set the quest as my primary quest, it would be nice if the quest item would distinguish itself in my bags (and even the bag would become highlighted). Going a step further, and this would probably be even easier to implement first: any quest item should have its icon displayed in the quest dialog, if you have it, or if the NPC gives it to you.

5. Better distinguished item groups. Yellow should be a yellow quality item. Purple should be a purple quality item. I realize that occasionally this will get mixed up, or loosely be similar to a neighboring color, but as it is, I sometimes have trouble distinguishing yellow from blue. This may have actually been fixed in the patch, and I just need more time to see its results.

6. More quests. I don't need more zones, and I really have no problem finding quests to level, but the fact is that I would be bored out of my mind repeating these quests again. You will not catch me leveling an alt without more lower level quests. Whether this is in a new zone or not does not bother me; I just need options to avoid the bane of any game: awkward repetition. This is only low on my list because I don't really have many plans for an alt anyway. I imagine alt-friendly people would have this much higher.
